Activity of the Republican AIDS Center work procedures by areas

Regional laboratories of the Republican AIDS Center (RACC) deliver blood samples taken from citizens to the central laboratory and the laboratory of the GEM in special test tubes due to the possibility of HIV infection in medical institutions of the country.
If it is not possible to deliver the blood sample within 1 day, its serum is stored for 5 days and transported under special conditions. In case of non-compliance with the specified period, the blood and serum sample is registered and disposed of as unusable.
Any citizen, including anonymous ones, can apply to the laboratories for examination. In each case, before and after the test, a consultation is held and the result is communicated to the citizen.
Biological residues of samples tested negative are disposed of. If the blood samples with a positive result again show a positive result in the examination by IFA method, they are sent to the admission department of the Republican AIDS Center for confirmation examination (reference examination).
