Department of Epidemiological Surveillance and Prevention
Epidemiological investigation of the infection.
Blood samples taken from citizens due to the possibility of HIV infection in medical institutions of the country, in special test tubes and accompanied by a referral approved by the order of the Ministry of Health No. 65 dated 31.08.2012, are delivered to the central laboratory and the Republican GEM laboratory.
Obtaining an HIV warning notice
Along with the preparation of the epidemiological investigation document, the citizen is issued a warrant of criminal liability for intentionally infecting others with HIV, and both documents are kept in his medical records and at the same time separately.
Obtaining informed consent for examination and treatment
In order to involve the patient in the treatment program as soon as possible, antiretroviral treatment is started with his informed consent. After receiving the decision of the Board of Experts and the registration code based on it, the citizen submits the patient's medical records to the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance and Outpatient Treatment of the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance and Prevention.
